Pedrógão, a long
beach of golden sand surrounded by pine trees, is a
small, 100 years old fishermen's town.
Praia da Vieira, the Rio Liz joins with the sea,
offering you a lively beach with a tradition of small wooden boat making.
São Pedro de Moel, an elegant town with the beach
bowled shaped surrounded by large rocks and cliffs.
Nazaré, a wonderful combination of a seaside
resorts with the traditions of the fishermen still intact. A wide beach with
massive waves, and a spectacular view on the rocks of Sitio. Here you can
assist the fishermen and women with bringing in their nets and right after
purchase the fresh fish. A long
boulevard filled with restaurants, shops and bars makes this town a true summer
paradise.

São Martinho do Porto
lays in a shell-shaped bay, connected with the ocean by a small channel.
Especially well suited for families with children. It also offers a boulevard
with shops, bars and restaurants.
Foz de Arelho - Lagoa de
Obidos, separated from the ocean by a large sandbank makes it a true
eldorado for fishing and activities on the water such as surfing and canoeing.
Especially well suited for families with small children.
Peniche owns a number of
beaches extra ordinary equipped for wave surfing. The massive waves and tubes
offer a spectacular sight. A trip with a boat to the Isle de Berlangas is
definitely worthwhile, enjoying the underwater flora and fauna in one of the
caves or taking a rest on the golden beach.
